Summer Course July 8-12
Have you wondered how color is related to gesture? Have you wanted to work with figure in a way that that is beyond just what it looks like, but also what it feels like, what the figure is expressing? Join us for the summer course held at Hawthorne Valley School, Ghent NY
In this course we will explore the mood and gesture of color using the human figure as our suggestion point. What sort of gesture would blue inspire? What about red? We will work with movement exercises as well as some basic figure drawing. The majority of our time will be spent working with color, collage, poetry and other mixed media. No experience is necessary, all of the exercises will be taught and they are both playful and forgiving.
